What a great way to kick off the last day of the Outside Lands Festival with our very own BIG LIGHT. All of us at reapandsow could not be more happy with their performance. They showed their mature side and came out firing from the start. Though a miner set back with the onstage monitors delayed their starting time, it really worked to their advantage. The end result was that more fans arrived and instead of letting the set back get them flustered , they came out and went for it. The band seems to finally feel good in their own skin and it definitely came through in the way of BIG SOUND. The additions of Joel Cummings on keys (Umphrey Mcgee) and Jeremy Black (Apollo Sunshine - Coyote Hearing Studio) definitley added professionlism to their set. Black was the stand out 6th member of the band, giving them added sound effects and panning of guitars through what was the smallest rig at the festival, but somehow Jeremy managed to make them sound like they were playing the Main Stage.
