Indie Country / Folk Duo Tim & Nicki Bluhm Release Duets

Though Duets is the debut from this Husband-and-Wife duo, it isn't the first time that music lovers have heard from Tim & Nicki Bluhm. Tim is the co-founder of The Mother Hips, currently celebrating 20 years as a quintessential California cult band (available HERE.) He also performs as a Grambler, as in Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers (available HERE.) Nicki is in the midst of a breakout year with her sophomore release Driftwood, produced by Tim which includes tracks featuring lead vocals by the couple.

The eight tracks on Duets blend the honky tonk harmonies of California country with West Coast folk and acoustic Americana. Tim & Nicki recorded Duets at their San Francisco studio, Mission Bells, with producer Dan Prothero who also produced Tim's California Way release from 2005 (available HERE.) We are honored to have the opportunity of working with the Bluhms for many releases & look forward to many more in the future.
