Big Rock Candy Mountain Make a San Francisco Debut

Sonic Weaponry will be presenting a show at the Knock Out (3323 Mission Street) with two strong local bands Arcadio and Charles Gonzalez and the Stereo Glitter. Arcadio hailing from San Francisco are coming off some strong shows and just recently SOLD OUT Cafe Du Nord with their most recent Cd release party. The band is definitely one of the strongest local bands about today, that embrace mellow, moody folk rock and make it their own. Rounding out the local presence is Charles Gonzalez & The Stereo Glitter, obviously no stranger to locals, you can be assured that Charles always brings along a talented band that demonstrates why he is has been bringing successful psych rock shows to the bay now for years. Charles is coming off some very successful producer credits of and we look forward to his new album coming out some time this year,

Closing the evening coming into San Francisco all the way from New Orleans is reapandsow's own Big Rock Candy Mountain (BRCM). The band is coming out of 2009 like a bat out of hell. Their 2009 release Hey Kid (which was one of my top albums of the year - http://www.jambase.com/Articles/20942/Best-of-2009-JamBase-Staff-Li... ) has been getting rave reviews from coast to coast. You may know Michael Girardot (keyboards, multi-instrumentalist) from his work in another New Orleans favorite band Rotary Downs. This is their first time in San Francisco and I am sure BRCM will be leaving town with many new fans and lovers , after they pick their faces up off the floor in absolute awwwwhh. (really)

Three great bands and nice way to round out the weekend. The night is an early one for all those who have to work on Monday. We start at at 7pm and are done at 10pm. This is definitely a night of music for music aficionados and not to be missed. All of us would love to have your support in making this a successful evening.
