- neanderthal alien formed in amsterdam in 2004 as an experimental improvisation group featuring guitar, bass, and tenor sax. their only motto was to play and not talk too much about the music. in dec ’05 neanderthal alien played 20 u.s. dates covering colorado, austin, houston, and much of the midwest. the members of this band hail from serbia, germany, and the u.s. they are currently living in amsterdam, poland, la, and nyc. for the members of this band, the varying nationalities and places of residence are a non-stop source of inspiration, information, and understanding.
